Hi there!
I got my first taste of photography in high school while taking a media productions class. Then in my early 20s, I worked as a camera operator for a local production company and filmed fishing shows, tournaments, commercials, dance recitals, weddings, and local sporting events. I enjoyed this for a few years before I got full swing into my IT career.
As life would have it, my wife and I started to travel more and wanted to capture our adventures. We wanted to take photos and share the beauty of nature as we saw it. Holding my camera, I instantly got the feeling that this is where I belong, behind the camera. This time I was taking pictures for myself. No direction, and no deadlines, just picture-perfect landscapes and semi-cooperative wildlife.
One specific bird picture, the Say's Phoeby sitting on a yellow flower, really kickstarted my renewed photography passion. This is the first picture that I proudly hung in my office.
After a few years of capturing landscape and wildlife for myself, I decided to setup a gallery. Here are some of my works from the places we have traveled to, and some shots of wildlife near home in Florida. Feel free to have a look at my galleries and Instagram @horizonexposures. Drop me a line or comment in the 'Contact Me' page. Help support us by purchasing a print from the store.
Thank you!
-Paul
